V2
Description
V2 is a supreme machine like V1 and was created directly after the success of V1 in wars. V2 is encountered in [1-4: CLAIR DE LUNE], and comes back for its final fight in [4-4 CLAIR DE SOLEIL]. They’re characterized as a cocky, relentless rival who starts their fights with V1 with a personal grudge rather than for survival.
Lore
After V1 was a major success in the wars on the surface, the V2 prototype was created. Unfortunately, the war ended before the final version of V2 was finished- leaving V2 obsolete and without purpose. There was an attempt to promote V2 as a security robot, but only one model was made due to the repurposing failing and demand dying down.
Terminal Data
The V model was built for war, with V1 boasting a new kind of exterior plating that allowed refueling through contact with blood rather than through a separate blood refueling process. Due to its necessary thinness, it is far less durable, but the ability to fix itself and rebuild broken parts on the fly would outweigh the negatives on an active battlefield. However, during the prototyping phase, the New Peace was established and war became irrelevant. V1’s planned production was cancelled and an updated model, V2, was developed instead, using the standardized plating, since durability was far more important during times of peace when no bloodshed was necessary. Neither model ever reached mass production due to the end of wars completely draining any demand, so it’s likely only a single prototype build of each model remains in existence.
Weapons and Abilities
V2 has multiple weapons, including a revolver, a shotgun, and later a rapid-fire nail gun. While V2 shares many weapons with the main character, V1, and V2 will only use the base versions of said weapons. Alongside those weapons, V2 has 2 special mechanical arms. The Knuckleblaster is a special arm that releases a blast of shotgun bullets, and the other arm, the Whiplash, is a makeshift grappling hook.
